13 Oct The 6th edition of IMEX-Andalucía drew in 1,716 professionals this week
This year’s edition of IMEX-Andalucía once again took place at FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre. The trade fair was held on 10th and 11th October 2018 and converted Seville in a hub of intense activity and networking for specialist agents and Andalusian small and medium enterprises (PYMES) hoping to internationalise their business. IMEX-Andalucía 2018 was organised by Moneda Única – a magazine specialising in international business – in collaboration with the Consejería de Conocimiento, Investigación y Universidad, the Junta de Andalucía and the agency Extenda. The trade fair boasted a long list of collaborators including (but not limited to): Iberia On Business (main sponsor), Bankinter, DHL, Banco Caixa Geral, Europa Group, the IACI (Instituo Alemán de Comercio Internacional), and more.
Portugal was this year’s invited country, and many agencies and organisations came to represent the country including Aicep Portugal Global, Turismo de Portugal, the Consulado Geral de Portugal in Seville, CCILE (Camara de Comercio e Industria Luso Espanhola), and more.
An astounding 1,952 one-to-one interviews were held during the two-day event, proving the great attention Andalusian companies are paying to export their businesses internationally. Business, legal, and financial consultants from over 51 countries attended IMEX-Andalucía 2018 to offer advice and to negotiate new partnerships with local businesses.
60 conferences and panel talks were held to discuss a number of topics related to international business: financing for businesses, countries with potential for investment, customs, legal solutions, foreign markets, e-commerce, and more. For a full list of the event’s programme, click this link.
